In charge of the execution of the Annual and Quarter SOX Certification (Sarbanes Oxley Certification).
• Lead the development of a Daily Management System (DMS) that gave visibility to upper management about the monthly metrics results of the department and the results of all the internal audits of each sub department, by proposing an on-line Dashboard with a tactile screen to enable interaction on real time besides, allowing the business decision-making process with a higher information level about the departments’ indicators and in shorter time.
Tax Compliance Analyst for the Brazil market. 2010 to 2013
Responsible for the migration to the Costa Rica Shared Service Center (SSC) of all the processes related to Brazil Tax Compliance VAT and Withholding taxes, which were in charge of the P&G Brazil site. In charge of Brazil tax accounts reconciliation for merchandises, services, imports and exports, such as IPI, PIS & COFINS, ICMS, ICMS-ST, IRRF, INSS, PCC, ISS . Accountable on the preparation and presentation of the training modules for the new Brazil Tax Analysts in Costa Rica.
• Elaborated new desktop procedures (DTPs) with a high detailed level in order to allow a proper transition of the tax compliance processes from the Brazil site into the Costa Rica SSC, accomplishing 2 milestones points the processes transition and the training to the new analysts in less than the time frame established in the Grant Diagram and secondly, this all was achieved without stopping the business continuity. Besides, this allowed starting the standardization of the new migrated processes with no business disruptions.
