7/ 2012 - 1/ Actual Muscat | | • Focal Point to support the PDO centrifugal pump execution Contract with Hydro (Third Party Company).
• Drive the development & implementation of a robust Workshop Quality Management System and Repair Standards for Rotating Equipment in PDO (More that 50 SOP created).
• Develop and sustain a continuous improvement tool for equipments repair.
• Produce technically comprehensive Scopes of Work for the repair of Rotating Equipment.
• Conduct Technical Evaluations of Contractor quotations, ensuring scopes of work are technically acceptable.
• Develop a Technical Audit / Capability Review Procedure for 3rd Party Rotating Equipment repairers and act as Contract Holder for a number of Rotating Equipment support Contracts.
• Plan equipment repairs in conjunction with the workshop supervisors, to ensure resources are in place when required and repairs are conducted in-line with agreed schedules and to optimum efficiency.
• Communicate with the Head of Workshops on a daily basis on repair progress, highlighting any areas of concern immediately.
• Ensure that spare parts requirements for equipment repairs are met through liaison with interior staff and the coastal based spares management team.
• Communicate on a daily basis with the Interior Workshops Supervisors for planning purposes, monitoring progress against schedule and to offer support where needed.
• Foster and maintain a close working relationship with Area Maintenance personnel, enabling teamwork and a collaborative working environment.
